COVID-19 Code of Conduct & Commitment

As a guest of New Braunfels Toobs (NB Toobs), we ask you to abide by the following CDC guidelines and Orders by Governor of the State of Texas Minimum Standard Health Protocols:

  • Maintain at least 6 feet separation from others not within the individual’s group at the park, beach, river, lake, river shuttle or bus.
  • Do NOT visit NB Toobs if you aware of or displaying any symptoms that are potential flu-like indications such as: fever, chills, cough, headache, loss of taste or smell, or any difficulty with breathing.
  • Assume any and all liability for your health and well-being when physically attending the premises of NB Toobs during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Consistent with the actions taken by many individuals across the state, consider wearing cloth face coverings (over the nose and mouth) at a park, beach, river, lake, river shuttle or bus when within 6 feet of another person who is not a member of the individual’s group.
  • Individuals aged 65 or older are at a higher risk of COVID-19. To the extent possible, avoid contact within 6 feet with individuals aged 65 and older. Individuals aged 65 and older should stay at home as much as possible.

NB Toobs commitment to our customers, staff and the community:

  • Commitment: We are working to put in place a safe & healthy environment for our guests, staff and community to enjoy Comal River activities while adhering to the new requirements invoked per the COVID-19 crisis of 2020.
  • Patience: We have worked to prepare for our customers and staff for the 2020 season based upon the Governor’s opening of rivers and river outfitters. This undoubtedly will create longer lines, queued entrances at NB Toobs and the river entrance & exit, reduced shuttle capacities, along with new protocols for staff to disinfect shuttles, buses, tubes, and facilities.
  • Honesty: We don’t don’t have all of the answers, we are working through prescribed guidance and common sense to look out for our customers, staff and surrounding community. Constructive Criticism is appreciated as we tackle this global pandemic collectively.
  • Understand that our hours of operation may adjust. We will include daily intermissions in operations for sanitation and cleaning purposes, and as such, this will cause delays in moving guests in shuttles and buses between river entrance & exit.
  • Get Out. Stay Safe. Have Fun. Share Feedback. SMILE.

So I will be going there for my first time tubing since I moved to TX should I bring a life jacket for my 11 yr old just to be safe she can swim but not a strong swimmer?
